In the early days Marek making potty in a potty a half dozen to a dozen times a day was easy. Then he got mobile and didn't want to sit still when it wasn't obviously going to happen instantly. We still managed to catch post waking up and walking instances, but that's about it. Even then, sometimes we had to be creative and let him stand at the sink, or play with the water in the sink as he sat and waited for nature to take it's course.
We've finally found a way were he's happy to sit on the potty.
Like any male, he likes to read while on the potty.
His current washroom favourite is Hand Hand Finger Thumb by Dr Suess. It must be read when he's on the potty, and he point to show you where it is if you ofer an alternative. He's very found of the dum ditty dum part, and will look for the book if you mention drumming.
